I’m coming off my most relaxing winter break to date. In the spirit of this post, I want to share more about my day-to-day life.

I spent the beginning of winter break hanging out on my own and knitting and crocheting for Agnes Lee Knitwear. I felt quite overstimulated by the end of last semester, so time to take long walks, snuggle with the cats, and read was a grateful reprieve.

Jason returned from visiting his family the same day that my mom and one of my sisters arrived in Colorado.

We gathered in the mountains to celebrate Christmas a bit late together. My sisters and I revived our handmade Christmas tradition this year, and I was excited to make my first pair of mittens at Abby’s request.

We spent our days in the mountains resting, reading, bowling, cooking great meals, and doing a small amount of skiing.

I was so grateful for the time to spend with my family over the holiday.

After Mom and Abby returned to their lives, Jason and I spent a few more days in the mountains. We had planned on skiing more, but the lack of snow and our relaxed attitudes kept us homebound.

I don’t regret a moment, and I’m beyond grateful to have had time to relax and decompress with people I love.
